Our Investment Group focuses identifying companies that have a comparative advantage in rapidly growing industries and strong management team. Our focus is on Natural Resources, Telecoms and Tech sectors. We support the companies we invest in to improve their governance, access to new markets as well as technical and financial partners.

Our Investment Group consists of experienced professionals with strong regional and global client relationships and broad industry expertise.

MIC’s track record in private equity dates from 2006 when we established Millennium Private Equity (MPE), which has been spun-off in late 2009. MIC successfully raised USD 450 million for three MPE funds: Global Energy Fund (USD 200 million), Telecom & Media Technology (USD 150 million), and a dedicated India Fund (USD 100 million), which were seeded by leading GCC institutions. Those funds constituted the start of a larger family of sector focused funds, geared towards key industries in the region.

MIC’s new private equity initiative includes the iminent launch of dedicated Sub-Saharan Tech Fund and a Natural Resources Fund.

MIC’s Research team is outsourced in India and currently supports our investment team by providing tailor-made research for each new investment opportunity.

This team is an invaluable asset for the management team not only in the GCC region, but also globally. MIC’s research team also provides Ad hoc due diligence support for specific industries. MIC’s research team is based in Mumbai, India.
