Private Equity
MFC’s track record in private equity dates from 2006 when we established Millennium Private Equity (MPE), which has been spun-off in late 2009. MFC has successfully raised USD 450 million for three funds: Global Energy Fund (USD 200 million), Telecom & Media Technology (USD 150 million), and a dedicated India Fund (USD 100 million), which have been seeded by leading GCC institutions. Those funds constituted the start of a larger family of sector focused funds, geared towards key industries in the region.
MFC’s new private equity offering currently includes a dedicated Sub-Saharan Fund and a Gold Resources Fund.
